Complete collection of 6 banknotes from the Bank of La Coruña, undated and unsigned, all with numbering, series, and preserving their top and left lateral matrix (double matrix stub at a right angle). They are characterised by being intaglio printed banknotes, printed in black on coloured paper. Blank reverse sides. The Royal Commissioners of this Bank were: Mr. Miguel Díaz, Mr. José Joaquín Barreiro, Mr. Pedro Pardo Villariño, and Mr. Joaquín María de Arizmendi. In 1874 it was agreed to merge with the Bank of Spain, these being the only issued examples. As a watermark, the Tower of Hercules appears between two rosettes with the face value of the banknote and above it the text BANCO DE LA CORUÑA.
