Wife of the emperor Trajan Decius (249-251), very little is known about her. She belonged to a senatorial family and was named Augusta after her husband came to the throne, a rank she retained after his death during the reign of Trebonianus Gallus. This piece shows her portrait with her name and title of Augusta; on the reverse appears Pudicitia, the personification of modesty and chastity.
